This week we'll be reading some non-fiction and learn
about Arctic exploration in the story, "Into the Ice."
Our reading skill discussions
for this week will center on Cause and Effect relationships.
We have been working on scanning
what we are going to read, summarizing, identifying main ideas, and making connections between what we read and our past experiences
or knowledge.
